Product Truth
Define the durable product context Korieo uses to connect strategy, roadmap, features, work items, and documentation.
What is Product Truth?
Product Truth is the structured product context Korieo uses to understand what you are building, why it matters, and how work should connect back to objectives and decisions.
Why Product Truth matters
A clear Product Truth reduces drift between strategy, requirements, roadmap decisions, engineering work, and documentation. It gives teams a shared reference for evaluating whether execution still matches intent.
What information it contains
- Product mission, audience, and problem statements.
- Objectives, success indicators, constraints, and tradeoffs.
- Themes, epics, features, decisions, and known risks.
- Documentation expectations and repository context where applicable.
How Product Truth connects work
Korieo uses Product Truth to relate strategy to roadmap items, features, work items, documentation, and delivery signals. The goal is traceability, not automatic replacement of product judgment.
Best practices
- Start with the smallest product area that has clear ownership.
- Write decisions in practical language that engineering and product teammates can both understand.
- Update Product Truth when objectives, scope, or constraints change.
- Review generated or suggested outputs before sharing them broadly.
