Korieo Community Docs

Set up your application

Create your first product application, complete setup, and establish Product Foundation.

Before you begin

Community supports one product that is not archived or deleted. Choose the product you want to use for your Community evaluation before creating it.

1. Open product setup

From Korieo, open Settings and find the product management area. Choose Create New Product. If you enter through the product launcher, choose the product-creation workflow.

2. Enter the product details

  • Name — required. Use the product name your team and customers will recognize.
  • Description — optional. Add a concise explanation of the product or evaluation scope.

3. Create the product

Choose Create. Korieo creates the product instance in setup state. The product appears in the Product instances list with its current Status and Setup state.

4. Complete setup

Open the new product from the Product instances list and choose Complete setup when the product identity is ready. Korieo marks the product active and its setup status complete.

5. Establish Product Foundation

Open Product Foundation for the selected product. Add and review the product context Korieo should use to ground planning and documentation. Keep missing or uncertain information explicit rather than filling gaps with assumptions.

6. Verify the selected product

Confirm the new product is the active product context before creating initiatives, roadmaps, documentation, or product-scoped integrations such as Code Repository connections.

What happens after Save?

  • The product becomes a tenant-owned product instance in Korieo.
  • Until setup is complete, the instance remains in a draft or setup-required state.
  • Completing setup marks the product active and ready for normal product workflows.
  • Community blocks another active product once the Community product capacity is used.
