Code Repository integration
Connect a code repository to Korieo for product-scoped delivery context and branch mapping.
Current provider
GitHub is the currently supported code repository provider. The Korieo documentation uses Code Repository as the integration category so the workflow is not tied to a provider name.
1. Open repository settings
In Korieo, open Settings, then Integrations and Repositories. Select the product that should own the repository context.
2. Connect the repository
Choose the supported repository provider and repository, then grant only the access required for the workflow you intend to use.
3. Map branches
Set the branches Korieo should treat as Production, UAT, QA, and Development where those environments apply. Production defaults to main; optional environments can be left unset.
4. Save and verify
Save the repository association, then confirm the selected product shows the expected repository and branch mappings before using repository-backed insights.
5. Use repository context
Use repository activity as delivery evidence and context. Review it alongside Product Foundation, customer evidence, and explicit product decisions rather than treating code activity as the product decision itself.
Access guidance
- Prefer the minimum repository permission needed for the workflow.
- Read-only access is appropriate when Korieo only needs to inspect repository context.
- Write-capable access should only be enabled for configured actions that require it and remain subject to confirmation.
- Keep repository credentials out of Product Foundation, prompts, documents, and exported content.
