Korieo Community Docs
Set up your customer
Create your first Customer Account and complete the customer setup journey.
Before you begin
Community supports one active Customer Account. Create your product first so it can be associated with the customer during setup.
1. Open the Account Portfolio
From the Korieo navigation, open Accounts. In Account Portfolio, review the Customers, Limit, and Available indicators, then choose Create account.
2. Enter account identity
- Account name — required. Use the customer or organization name.
- Account owner — identifies the accountable person; leave it blank to use the current-user default where available.
3. Describe the account lifecycle
- Lifecycle stage — Prospect, Qualification, Proposal, Contracting, Onboarding, Active, Expansion, Paused, Offboarding, or Closed.
- Account type — Customer, Prospect, Partner, Vendor, or Internal.
4. Classify the account
- Segment — Strategic, Enterprise, Growth, Standard, Pilot, Partner, or Internal.
- Industry — the customer's industry context.
- Region — the geographic context used when reviewing the account.
5. Record relationship signals
- Account health — the current condition of the account relationship.
- Strategic priority — Critical, High, Medium, or Low.
- Relationship status — the current relationship strength.
- Review cadence — how frequently the account should be reviewed.
6. Add strategic context
Strategic context is optional. Use it to answer the practical question shown by Korieo: What is this customer trying to achieve? Keep it concise and grounded in known customer context.
7. Create and continue
Choose Create account and continue. Korieo validates the account and Community capacity, creates the tenant-owned Customer Account, and opens the account workspace.
Complete Account readiness
- Owner — confirm the accountable owner and a valid reminder email if email reminders will be enabled.
- Stakeholders — add at least one customer stakeholder. A stakeholder is a customer contact and does not receive a Korieo login.
- Products — choose Assign product, select your product, set the relationship to In use, Planned, or Paused, and optionally enter a start date.
- Initiatives — create at least one customer outcome. Target period, expected outcome, and business value can add useful context.
- Reviews — establish the review cadence or next check-in.
- Risks — record known risks so they are visible in account reviews and reporting.
What happens after Save?
- The Customer Account appears in Account Portfolio and opens as an account-scoped workspace.
- Overview and Account readiness reflect completed and missing setup context.
- Assigned products become available to customer-outcome and delivery workflows for that account.
- Community blocks another active Customer Account after its one-customer capacity is used.
Next step
Continue to Integrations once the product and Customer Account are ready.
